Job summary

CAVA is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to drive daily restaurant operations alongside the General Manager and Area Leader. You will lead teams, manage schedules, forecast labor needs, and control inventories to uphold CAVA's standards and profitability.

As AGM, you will master competency-based leadership, oversee training, and support strategic actions to enhance guest experiences and financial performance. Competitive pay and benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a supervisory/manager role in restaurant or hospitality.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Comfort with budgeting, cost control, and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager with daily restaurant operations, including opening/closing.
• Ensure adherence to standards for quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory, ordering, and cost control to maintain profitability.
• Lead and coach Team Members; provide performance feedback.
• Support with scheduling and staffing.
• Address Team Member issues to maintain a positive environment.
• Uphold high service standards and promptly address guest concerns.
• Contribute to strategies to boost customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Lead by example in customer service and inspire the team to follow.
