Job summary

CAVA is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Dallas to bring our mission and values to life in our restaurant. You will work with the General Manager and Area Leader to plan store actions, forecast, and develop hourly Team Members in the restaurant.

This role supports daily operations, manages schedules, inventory, and financials, trains and coaches Team Members, and works to improve guest satisfaction. Competitive pay and growth opportunities reflect our culture.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of supervisory or management experience in restaurant or hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ability to manage financials, including budgeting and cost control.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in managing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure adherence to CAVA's standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory management, supply ordering, and cost control to maintain profitability.
• Supervise and support Team Members with training, coaching, and feedback.
• Support the General Manager with scheduling and staffing.
• Address Team Member issues and conflicts to maintain a positive work environment.
• Improve guest experience and address customer concerns promptly.
• Lead by example in customer service and encourage the team to follow suit.
• Assist with preparing financial reports and performance analysis.
• Ensure accurate financial record-keeping and cash handling procedures.
