Job summary

CAVA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to partner with the General Manager and Area Leader in running daily restaurant operations at our Texas location. You will help manage schedules, labor, inventory, and customer service while upholding CAVA standards and hospitality excellence.

You will train and coach Team Members, monitor financial metrics, and contribute to improving guest satisfaction and profitability.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership in a supervisory or management role in foodservice.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record delivering exceptional guest service.
• Ability to manage budgets, costs, and inventory.
• Experience coaching and developing hourly Team Members.
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced restaurant environments.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in daily restaurant operations, including opening/closing procedures.
• Ensure adherence to food quality, service, and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee inventory management, ordering, and cost control to protect profitability.
• Supervise and support Team Members with training, coaching, and feedback.
• Assist with scheduling, staffing, and addressing team issues.
• Support with financial reporting and performance analysis.
