Job summary

CAVA is hiring an Assistant General Manager in Delray Beach to lead and support restaurant operations. You will partner with the General Manager and Area Leader to implement action plans, manage schedules, labor, and inventory, and develop hourly Team Members through hands-on coaching.

You will learn competency-based leadership, oversee financial metrics, and drive guest satisfaction while maintaining high standards of food safety and service quality.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in a supervisory or management role within restaurant or hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ability to manage budgeting and cost control.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Willing to work nights and weekends; travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in daily restaurant operations, including opening/closing.
• Ensure adherence to CAVA standards for food quality and service.
• Oversee inventory, supply ordering, and cost control.
• Supervise and support Team Members with training and feedback.
• Support with scheduling and staffing.
• Help address Team Member issues to maintain a positive work environment.
• Uphold high service standards and address customer concerns promptly.
• Support with budgeting, cash handling, and budget adherence.
• Assist with financial reports and performance analysis.
• Maintain accurate records and cash procedures.
• Oversee food safety practices and team training.
• Assist with administrative tasks like inventory management.
• Participate in special projects to drive restaurant success.
