Job summary

CAVA – Delray Place is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to drive restaurant operations and guest satisfaction. You will partner with the General Manager to develop action plans, manage schedules, and coach hourly Team Members toward excellence.

You will oversee inventory, labor, and budgeting while ensuring food safety and quality standards are met. This role requires strong leadership, adaptability, and a commitment to hospitality excellence.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of supervisory/management experience in restaurant or hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist General Manager with daily restaurant operations and opening/closing.
• Ensure adherence to CAVA standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory, supply ordering, and cost control to maintain profitability.
• Supervise and support Team Members with training and feedback.
• Assist with scheduling and staffing.
• Address Team Member issues to maintain a positive work environment.
• Enhance guest experience by maintaining high service standards and addressing concerns.
• Lead initiatives to boost customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Role model exceptional customer service for the team.
• Support financial tracking, cash handling, and budget compliance.
• Prepare financial reports and analyze performance metrics for improvements.
• Ensure accurate financial records and compliant cash handling.
• Oversee food safety practices and train on procedures.
