HMSHost in Columbus, OH is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead QSR or casual dining operations, ensuring the restaurant is clean, ready for business, staffed, and operating to high standards.

You will supervise day-to-day activities, recruit and develop talent, review financial and operational data, manage schedules, and uphold safety, inclusion, and service excellence for guests.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum 6 years F&B, cash handling, and customer service experience.
• Requires minimum 4 years supervisory or lead experience in a Casual Dine restaurant or production kitchen.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions and policy documents; communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Completes opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies/procedures.
• Assists the GM/F&B Multi Unit Manager I in supervising day-to-day activities of associates within a defined group of restaurants or points-of-sale.
• Interviews job candidates, makes hiring and promotion decisions for associates; promotes HMSHost as an employer of choice.
• Reads and understands financial and operational data to monitor progress toward unit goals and adjusts staffing as needed.
• Manages day-to-day activities of associates and ensures diversity and inclusion policies are followed.
• Ensures compliance with health and safety procedures and AB policies.
