Job summary

CAVA is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Eden Prairie to partner with the General Manager in leading daily restaurant operations, forecasting, labor management and inventory. You will help develop hourly Team Members in a competency-based environment and ensure exceptional service and profitability.

You will coach teams, manage scheduling, cash handling, and financial reporting while upholding food safety and customer satisfaction standards. A positive, inclusive culture is emphasized.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a supervisory or management role within restaurant or hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and solve problems.
• Capable of managing budgeting and cost control.
• Knowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in managing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure adherence to standards for food quality, service and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory management, supply ordering, and cost control.
• Supervise and support Team Members with training, coaching and feedback.
• Support scheduling and staffing.
• Address Team Member issues to maintain a positive work environment.
• Uphold high service standards and address customer concerns promptly.
• Lead guest experience initiatives and drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Support with financial tracking, cash handling, and budgeting guidelines.
• Assist with preparing financial reports and performance analyses.
• Ensure accurate financial record-keeping and compliance.
• Oversee food safety practices and team training on procedures.
• Handle administrative tasks such as inventory management and records.
• Support with report preparation and action plan implementation.
• Participate in special projects to drive restaurant success.
