Job summary

CAVA - Touhy and Linder is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, balance schedules, forecast labor, and coach Team Members to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

You will partner with the General Manager and Area Leader to drive profitability, maintain food safety standards, manage inventory, and implement strategies to boost customer satisfaction while modeling CAVA's values and service excellence.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of supervisory or management experience in restaurant or hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ability to manage budgeting and cost control.
• Knowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in managing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure adherence to CAVA's standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory management, supply ordering, and cost control to maintain profitability.
• Supervise and support Team Members with training, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Support the General Manager with scheduling and staffing.
• Assist with addressing Team Member issues and conflicts to maintain a positive work environment.
• Enhance guest experience by upholding high service standards and addressing customer concerns.
• Lead initiatives to boost customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Support with preparing financial reports and performance analysis.
• Assist with cash handling procedures and adherence to budget guidelines.
• Assist with food safety training and maintaining proper procedures.
• Handle administrative tasks like inventory management and record keeping.
