Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking an Assistant General Manager to help ensure smooth daily operations across our network of travel plazas. This role offers an entry path into management with exposure to supervision, budgeting, and guest service.

You will lead teams, uphold brand standards, manage cash, and contribute to a positive, fast-paced environment with flexible schedules and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and communicate business objectives.
• Supervise non-management associates, assign work, coach shifts supervisors, and monitor store performance.
• Be capable of acting in the General Manager's absence.
• Motivate staff and maintain morale during challenging periods.
• Maintain brand standards and company policies.
• Ensure clean, inviting restaurant appearance and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Manage cash handling and daily reporting per directives.
• Resolve customer needs and nurture long-term relationships.
• Conduct spot inventories to ensure accurate stock data.
