Applegreen USA Welcome Centers is seeking an Assistant General Manager to help the General Manager run day-to-day operations, train and supervise staff, and uphold brand standards across our travel plazas. You will interact with customers, manage shifts, and ensure smooth service at a fast-paced site.

We value strong leadership, exceptional customer service, and the ability to motivate a team while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in quick service restaurant or similar management operations.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Ability and willingness to lift/push objects weighing over 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in daily operations to ensure smooth store performance.
• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and communicate objectives clearly.
• Supervise non-management staff and coordinate shifts to optimize store operations.
• Step in for the GM when needed and maintain brand standards and customer focus.
• Lead staff motivation, address issues promptly, and uphold policies and procedures.
• Ensure cash handling accuracy, daily reporting, and inventory accuracy through spot checks.
