Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support daily operations and learn essential management skills. You will work closely with the General Manager to drive store performance, team leadership, and customer satisfaction.

The role offers entry-level management exposure, with emphasis on coaching, brand standards, and operational discipline to ensure a smooth guest experience across our travel plaza network.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and management skills with ability to motivate a team.
• Excellent customer service abilities and positive attitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic food safety understanding and practice.
• Ability and willingness to lift/push objects weighing over 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and communicate objectives.
• Supervise non-management associates, assign work, coach, and develop supervisors.
• Cover duties in the absence of the general manager.
• Motivate staff and maintain morale.
• Ensure policies, brand standards, and procedures are followed.
• Maintain clean, inviting restaurant; manage cash and daily reports.
• Address customer needs and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction.
• Perform spot inventory checks to ensure accuracy of inventory data.
