Job summary

CAVA - Michigan is seeking an Assistant General Manager to partner with the GM and Area Leader to execute store action plans, monitor financial metrics, and develop hourly team members. You will support operations, forecasting, labor management and inventory to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

• 1-2 years supervisory or management experience in restaurant or hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in managing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure adherence to CAVA standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory management, supply ordering, and cost control to maintain profitability.
• Supervise and support Team Members with training, coaching, and feedback.
• Support the General Manager with scheduling and staffing.
• Address Team Member issues to maintain a positive environment.
• Enhance guest experience by upholding high service standards and addressing concerns.
• Lead by example in customer service and inspire the team.
• Support financial tracking, cash handling, and budgeting.
• Assist with preparing financial reports and performance analysis.
• Ensure accurate financial records and cash procedures.
• Oversee food safety practices and training.
• Handle administrative tasks such as inventory and records.
• Support report prep and action plan execution.
• Participate in special projects to drive restaurant success.
