Job summary

CAVA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to partner with the General Manager and Area Leader in delivering exceptional restaurant operations. You will shape store plans, monitor financial metrics, and develop hourly Team Members while maintaining high standards of service.

The role emphasizes leadership, profitability, and guest satisfaction, with a focus on scheduling, inventory, and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of supervisory or management experience in restaurant/hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and solve problems quickly.
• Ability to manage budgeting and cost control, with knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in daily restaurant operations, including opening/closing procedures.
• Ensure adherence to standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory, supplies, and cost controls to maintain profitability.
• Supervise and coach Team Members, providing training and feedback.
• Support scheduling and staffing under the General Manager.
