Job summary

CAVA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to partner with the General Manager and Area Leader in delivering outstanding restaurant performance. You will help manage schedules, forecasts, and labor while maintaining top-tier food quality and guest experience.

You will lead by example in customer service, support Team Members with coaching, and help drive profitability through inventory control, financial tracking, and staff development across shifts.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of supervisory or management experience in restaurant or hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and solve problems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in managing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure adherence to standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory management, supplier orders, and cost control to maintain profitability.
• Supervise and support Team Members with training, coaching and feedback.
• Support scheduling and staffing and resolve team member issues to maintain a positive environment.
