Border Foods is seeking an Assistant Manager in Carbon Cliff, IL to lead restaurant operations and drive a high‑performing team. You will coach staff, uphold food safety, and ensure fast, friendly service while delivering an outstanding guest experience.

You’ll manage scheduling, labor costs, and daily P&L insights, with emphasis on accountability and teamwork. This role requires flexibility for early mornings, evenings, and holidays, and offers strong bonus opportunities and growth potential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year restaurant or retail experience, or equivalent.
• Experience with sales building, P&L statements, recruiting, and training.
• Proven track record of successful hiring and retention.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, late nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Non-exempt management position; expected to work a minimum of 50 hours per week.
• ServeSafe Certified

Responsibilities

• Manage daily restaurant operations and build a strong team.
• Ensure customers receive great food and a friendly service experience.
• Monitor health and safety standards and food safety practices.
