Job summary

Border Foods LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager in Illinois to lead daily restaurant operations, coach a diverse team, and uphold our core values of accountability, integrity, and teamwork. You will ensure safe, friendly service and great food while driving performance and guest satisfaction.

You’ll participate in scheduling, training, and developing team members, with attainable bonus opportunities and education support.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales growth and driving profit at a restaurant or retail location.
• Experience preparing or analyzing P&L statements and budgeting.
• Proven track record in recruiting, training, and retaining staff.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
• Non-exempt management role with 50+ hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations and drive great guest experiences.
• Lead and coach a diverse team to meet performance standards.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with health regulations.
