Border Foods LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager in Galesburg, IL to oversee restaurant operations and build a high-performing team. You will drive a great guest experience with fast, friendly service and uphold our CORE values of accountability, integrity, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one years restaurant or retail experience, or combined experience and education.
• Experience with sales building, P&L statements, recruiting, and training.
• Proven track record of successful hiring and retention.
• Ability to work early morning, evenings, late night, weekends, and some holidays. Schedule demands may change.
• This non-exempt management position is expected to work a minimum of 50 hours per week.
• ServeSafe Certified
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid Driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of the entire restaurant and build a strong team that delivers great food and friendly service.
• Lead team to provide customers with fast and friendly service.
• Enforce health and safety standards and comply with all laws.
• Schedule and deploy staff to meet business needs and monitor performance.
• Represent Border Foods in dealing with customer issues and maintain a positive work environment.
