Job summary

Taco Bell in New Bedford, MA is seeking an Assistant General Manager who will support the Restaurant General Manager by upholding brand standards, coaching the team, and delivering outstanding customer experiences.

In this role you will lead daily operations in the GM's absence, assist with hiring, training, performance feedback, and labor and inventory management, while promoting Taco Bell's culture of equity and belonging.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of restaurant/retail management experience.
• Assist with P&L management by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, and reviewing financial reports.
• Ensure all employees receive proper training and resources.
• Champion Taco Bell's culture and values, promoting equity, inclusion, and belonging in the restaurant.
• Lead efforts in individual and team recognition, collaboration, and motivation.
• Identify and recruit exceptional talent, supporting the GM in the hiring process.
• Possess strong communication skills for conducting performance appraisals, taking disciplinary action, and motivating and training employees.
• Adhere to corporate policies, procedures, and Occupational Health and Food Safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations in the GM's absence and uphold food safety standards.
• Model MIC Success Routine and prioritize customer needs.
• Assess team performance and provide constructive feedback to employees.
• Support GM in sourcing, interviewing, and hiring Team Members with inclusive culture.
• Assist with cash control, inventory, and labor management to optimize profitability.
• Review financial reports to drive performance improvements.
