Job summary

Taco Bell is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the Restaurant General Manager, uphold brand standards, and inspire the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will cover daily operations in the GM's absence, drive performance, and foster a culture of equity and belonging.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, coaching, and recognizing employees, with a focus on training, development, and maintaining high standards across operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of restaurant/retail management experience.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to conduct performance appraisals and discipline.
• Strong leadership to coach, motivate, and recognize team performance.
• Experience assisting with P&L management including cash control and labor management.
• Proven ability to source, recruit, interview, and hire team members while promoting equity and belonging.
• Knowledge of corporate policies, procedures and health and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations in the Restaurant General Manager's absence.
• Model MIC Success Routine and prioritize customer needs to ensure satisfaction.
• Oversee Shift Excellence responsibilities and uphold food safety and Core Excellence.
• Provide ongoing constructive feedback and address employee relations issues with GM support.
• Assist in sourcing, interviewing, and hiring Team Members and promote inclusion.
• Manage Profit & Loss elements, inventory, cash control, and labor management.
• Review financial reports and take actions to optimize restaurant performance.
