Job summary

CAVA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, uphold food quality and service standards, and partner with the General Manager on store action plans and financial results.

You will coach Team Members, manage scheduling, labor, and inventory, help drive guest satisfaction, and support with reporting and adherence to safety and cash-handling procedures.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a supervisory or management role in hospitality.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Proven track record of delivering excellent guest service.
• Ability to manage budgets, scheduling, and cost control.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in daily restaurant operations.
• Ensure adherence to food quality, service, and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee inventory, supply ordering and cost control.
• Supervise, coach, and provide feedback to Team Members.
• Support scheduling and staffing.
• Assist with financial reporting and cash handling procedures.
• Foster guest satisfaction and address customer concerns.
