Job summary

CAVA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead hospitality excellence in our restaurant. You will partner with the General Manager to plan operations, forecast labor, manage inventory, and develop hourly Team Members, while upholding food quality and service standards.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of supervisory or management experience in restaurant or hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ability to manage budgeting and cost control.
• Knowledge of food safety, health, and sanitation regulations.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and travel as needed.
• Adapt to fast-paced environments and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing.
• Ensure adherence to CAVA's standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory management, supply ordering, and cost control to maintain profitability.
• Supervise and support Team Members with training, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Assist with scheduling and staffing.
• Address Team Member issues to maintain a positive work environment.
• Enhance guest experience by upholding high service standards.
• Lead by example in customer service and encourage the team to follow suit.
