Job summary

CAVA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to partner with the General Manager and Area Leader in Indianapolis restaurants. You will help set store action plans, monitor financial metrics, and develop hourly Team Members to maintain exceptional operations.

Responsibilities include managing daily operations, inventory control, staff coaching, and scheduling while upholding food safety and service standards in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and travel is required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of supervisory or management experience in restaurant/hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in daily restaurant operations, including opening/closing.
• Ensure adherence to CAVA standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory, ordering, and cost control to maintain profitability.
• Supervise and support Team Members with training and feedback.
• Support with scheduling and staffing and resolving team issues.
