Job summary

CAVA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, uphold food quality and service standards, and partner with the General Manager on scheduling, forecasting, labor management, and inventory.

You will mentor team members, coach performance, drive guest satisfaction, manage financials and cash handling, ensure food safety, and implement initiatives to boost profitability, while modeling a generous, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service.

• Experience budgeting, cost control, and financial basics.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in managing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure adherence to quality, service, and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee inventory management, supply ordering, and cost control to maintain profitability.
• Supervise and support Team Members with training, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Support scheduling and staffing, and address team issues to maintain a positive environment.
• Enhance guest experience and address customer concerns promptly.
• Lead initiatives to boost customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Assist with managing financials, cash handling, and budget adherence.
• Prepare financial reports and analyze performance metrics for improvements.
