Job summary
Panera LLC in Green Bay, WI is seeking an Assistant General Manager Lead to partner with the General Manager on operations, staffing, training, and guest satisfaction. You will drive daily performance, nurture team development, and uphold Panera's standards of service and quality.
You will lead recruiting, onboarding, and coaching, ensuring safe, efficient bakery-cafe operations while delivering memorable guest experiences.
Qualifications
- Experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles.
- ServSafe certification or ability to obtain certification.
- Ability to drive results with strong business acumen.
- Flexible availability including nights and weekends in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Support the General Manager by making key decisions and solving problems.
- Plan and manage staffing, shift scheduling, and team development.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members.
- Monitor team performance to meet goals and service standards.
- Partner with the GM to develop managers through Panera’s values and behaviors.
- Foster guest-focused operations and maintain food/service quality.
- Help control costs and inventory while building a warm, inclusive culture.
