Panera LLC is seeking an Assistant General Manager Lead to drive daily bakery-cafe operations, inspire a high-performing team, and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will partner with the General Manager on staffing, training, and development while managing costs and upholding Panera’s standards and values.

The role emphasizes leadership, people development, and hands-on operations in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment with flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age
• 1+ years of restaurant management experience preferred
• ServSafe certification (or ability to achieve)
• Proven ability to drive positive results through strong business acumen
• Flexible hours including nights and weekends in a fast-paced environment
• Background check required

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager by making key decisions and problem solving.
• Plan and manage staffing needs, shift scheduling, people development, career development, and succession planning.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members while motivating and celebrating the team.
• Manage team performance to meet bakery-cafe goals, quality standards, and guest service expectations.
• Develop managers on processes and Panera’s Guiding Values & Behaviors to build subject matter experts.
• Collaborate to ensure guest satisfaction through food quality and service excellence
• Maintain procedures to execute company strategies and initiatives at your bakery-cafe.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, safety and regulatory requirements
