Panera LLC in Appleton, WI seeks an Assistant General Manager Lead to guide a beloved bakery-cafe and grow the business. You will partner with the General Manager on operations, hire and train staff, and celebrate team success while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

You will lead staffing, development and accountability, ensuring quality standards and adherence to safety and Panera values. This role requires flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of restaurant management experience.
• ServSafe certification (or ability to achieve).
• Proven ability to drive positive results through business acumen.
• Ability to lead, motivate, coach and develop others in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager by making key decisions and problem solving.
• Plan and manage staffing needs, shift scheduling, people development, and succession planning.
• Assist with hiring, on-boarding and training of new team members while motivating and celebrating the team.
• Manage team performance to meet bakery-cafe goals and guest service standards.
• Develop managers on Panera's guiding values and behaviors.
• Work as a team to ensure guest delight in food and service.
• Build relationships to foster loyal guests and strong team culture.
• Follow procedures to execute company strategies and initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to policies and regulations and maintain a safe workplace.
