Job summary

Panera LLC is seeking an Assistant General Manager Lead who will partner with the General Manager to oversee bakery-cafe operations and lead a dedicated team. You will hire, train, and develop staff while ensuring guest satisfaction and adherence to Panera’s standards.

You will drive staffing plans, coach leaders, and manage costs to support growth and a welcoming community bakery-cafe environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18+ years.
• 1+ years of restaurant management experience preferred.
• ServSafe certification (or ability to achieve) required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the bakery-cafe team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Plan staffing, scheduling, training, and succession planning with the General Manager.
• Drive performance, manage costs, and uphold quality standards to meet targets.
• Partner with the GM to build leadership capability and maintain Panera’s Guiding Values.
