Job summary

Extended Stay America in California seeks an Assistant General Manager to help lead the hotel day-to-day operations, supervise hourly staff, schedule activities, and ensure top guest satisfaction.

The AGM will train team members, enforce safety policies, drive revenue, manage onboarding, and collaborate with the GM/MUGM to maintain standards and operational excellence across departments.

Qualifications

• Prior hotel or hospitality supervisory experience required.
• High School diploma or GED; or related experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the GM or MUGM in daily hotel operations and staff supervision.
• Schedule and direct hourly staff; train and develop team.
• Ensure safety, security, and compliance with company policies.
• Improve guest and associate satisfaction and optimize GOP.
