Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily hotel operations and supervise hourly staff. The AGM will oversee scheduling, training, and ensuring safety and security, while promoting exceptional guest experiences and adherence to company policies across the property.

The role emphasizes hands-on management, onboarding, and collaboration with the GM/MUGM to optimize EBITDA and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Fluent English reading, writing and verbal skills required.
• Prior hotel or retail experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist GM/MUGM in daily hotel operations and staff management.
• Schedule, train and supervise hourly staff to meet performance goals.
• Ensure safety, security and policy compliance across the property.
• Drive guest satisfaction and revenue through effective leadership.
