Job summary

ESA Management, LLC is seeking an Assistant General Manager for its Extended Stay America property in Tampa, Florida. The AGM will work closely with the GM to run daily hotel operations, supervise hourly staff, manage scheduling, and ensure safety and security protocols are followed.

The role emphasizes guest satisfaction, staff development, cost control, and revenue growth, with focus on onboarding, training, and maintaining service standards across all departments.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality required, preferably hotel or retail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to supervise 8–15 hourly staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead hourly staff scheduling and daily activities.
• Ensure onboarding and training completion.
• Promote safety and security procedures.
• Drive revenue, control costs, and guest satisfaction.
• Resolve guest issues promptly and escalate when needed.
• Assist in budgeting and labor monitoring.
• Inspect guest rooms and oversee operations.
