Job summary

Cooper’s Hawk Winery in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead a high-volume, full-service restaurant with scratch kitchen, tasting room, and Wine Club programs. You’ll develop and coach management and hourly teams, partner with the General Manager to drive hospitality and financial performance, and advance the Wine Club community while upholding Cooper’s Hawk values.

This role requires strategic leadership, guest focus, and a proven track record of coaching leaders.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of supervisory experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts including weekends and some holidays.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Proven ability to coach and develop leaders through feedback and performance management.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a passion for hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall restaurant operations and departments to include Service and Tasting Room.
• Participate in hourly Team Member hiring and onboarding; ensure Team Members have the tools, support and training needed to succeed.
• Foster a growth mindset by creating opportunities for learning, development, and career progression.
• Lead all Management and Hourly Team Members as a role model of Cooper's Hawk Values and behaviors.
• Drive operational excellence and data-driven decision making to maximize results.
