Job summary

Church's Chicken in Alabama is seeking an Assistant General Restaurant Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations under the Restaurant General Manager. You will ensure staff execution of programs, assist in achieving sales and profitability targets, and handle banking and administrative duties with accuracy.

You'll train and schedule team members, monitor inventory, enforce company policies, and maintain a safe, high‑quality dining environment across all shifts.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in the restaurant industry.
• ServSafe food safety training is highly recommended.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) in ensuring all employees are trained.
• Maintain staffing and prepare weekly schedules.
• Help staff during high volume periods as needed.
• Assist in administering paperwork promptly.
• Analyze profit and loss statements and meet sales plans.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean facility at all times.
• Deliver high quality products daily, every shift.
