CAVA is hiring an Assistant General Manager in Maryland to lead daily restaurant operations and uphold our hospitality standards. You will work with the General Manager and Area Leader to craft action plans, drive financial results, and mentor hourly Team Members.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within restaurant or hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and develop solutions for restaurant performance.
• Ability to manage budgeting and cost control.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in managing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure adherence to CAVA standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory management, supply ordering, and cost control to maintain profitability.
• Supervise and support Team Members with training, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Assist with scheduling and staffing.
• Assist with preparing financial reports and analyzing performance metrics.
• Support cash handling and adherence to budget guidelines.
• Lead by example in customer service and encourage the team to follow suit.
