Popeyes is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Houston to lead shifts, coach teams, and ensure exceptional guest experiences. You will support the Restaurant General Manager and help control food costs, labor, and standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in restaurant or retail management (QSR a plus).
• People-first leadership with hands-on approach.
• Strong communication and decision-making skills.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of daily restaurant operations, from the front counter to the back of house
• Lead shifts with confidence—ensuring speed, accuracy, and top-tier guest experiences
• Coach, develop, and motivate team members to hit service and performance goals
• Monitor food quality, safety standards, and cleanliness
• Assist in managing labor, food costs, and profitability
• Respond to guest feedback and resolve concerns with care
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, policies, and safety procedures and other duties assigned.
• Help with hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members
