Job summary

Popeyes is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Houston to support the Restaurant General Manager in daily operations and team leadership. You will coach staff, ensure fast, accurate service and deliver the iconic Popeyes guest experience.

This role emphasizes hands-on leadership, strong communication, and a people-first approach. You will help manage labor, food costs, and standards while promoting a welcoming and inclusive team culture.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in restaurant or retail management.
• People-first leadership style with hands-on approach.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of daily restaurant operations from front to back of house.
• Lead shifts with confidence to ensure speed, accuracy and guest experiences.
• Coach, develop and motivate team members to hit service goals.
• Monitor food quality, safety standards and cleanliness.
• Assist in managing labor, food costs and profitability.
• Respond to guest feedback and resolve concerns with care.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, policies and safety procedures.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding and training of new team members
