Applegreen USA operates over 80 travel plazas across the Northeast and Midwest, offering convenience, comfort, and a range of food options. We are seeking an Assistant General Manager to help the General Manager ensure smooth day-to-day operations and to develop entry-level managers in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes leadership, customer service excellence, and adherence to brand standards while driving performance and employee development.

Formación

• 2+ years experience in quick service restaurant or similar management operations.
• Strong leadership and management skills with ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent customer service abilities and positive attitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with sharp business acumen.
• Flexible and open work schedule.
• Basic food safety understanding and practice.
• Ability and willingness to lift/push objects weighing over 30 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and communicate business objectives.
• Supervise non-management staff, assign work, coach shifts, and develop supervisors.
• Must be able to competently perform duties in the absence of the general manager.
• Motivate staff during times of low morale.
• Ensure day-to-day operations meet brand standards and procedures.
• Maintain cash management and daily reporting per directives.
• Address customer needs and resolve issues to build long-term relationships.
• Monitor inventory with spot counts and checks.
