Applegreen USA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations at one of our travel plazas. You will lead a team, coach staff, and help deliver excellent guest experiences across our food and retail offerings.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, customer service, and hands-on store management with a focus on brand standards, safety, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping people learn and grow the business.
• Strong leadership and management skills with proven ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent customer service abilities and positive attitude
• Excellent verbal and communication skills with a sharp business acumen
• 2+ Years experience in quick service restaurant or similar management operations
• Flexible and open work schedule
• Basic food safety understanding and practice.
• Ability and willingness to lift/push objects weighing over 30 Lbs.

Responsabilités

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and communicate business objectives.
• Supervise day-to-day operations and coaching of shifts supervisors.
• Step in during absence of general manager and ensure smooth operations.
• Motivate staff and maintain morale during busy periods.
• Uphold brand standards and company policies across stores.
• Maintain accurate cash handling and daily reporting.
