Applegreen USA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in daily operations of our travel plazas. You will lead teams, ensure service standards, and help drive sales and guest satisfaction.

This role offers leadership development, exposure to branding standards, flexible scheduling, and a path toward store-level advancement within a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in quick service restaurant or similar management operations.
• Strong leadership and management skills with proven ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent customer service abilities and positive attitude.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills with a sharp business acumen.
• Flexible and open work schedule.
• Basic food safety understanding and practice.
• Ability and willingness to lift/push objects weighing over 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and clearly communicate business objectives.
• Oversee day-to-day supervision of non-management staff, assign tasks, and coach shift supervisors.
• Be capable of acting in the absence of the general manager.
• Motivate staff and maintain morale during challenging periods.
• Ensure adherence to brand standards and procedures to maximize brand, landlord, and labor relations.
• Maintain clean, inviting restaurant appearance and accurate cash management and daily reports.
• Address customer needs and resolve issues to foster positive, long-term relationships.
