Applegreen USA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in daily operations across our network of travel plazas. You will lead store teams, ensure top customer service, and uphold brand standards while driving performance in a fast-paced environment.

This role emphasizes leadership, effective communication, and hands-on management of shifts, inventory, and cash handling to deliver a consistently high-quality guest experience.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and ability to motivate a team.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• 2+ years in quick service restaurant or similar management.
• Flexible and open work schedule.
• Knowledge of basic food safety practices.
• Ability to lift/push objects over 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and communicate business objectives.
• Supervise day-to-day operations and coaching of shifts Supervisors.
• Step in and assist the general manager when needed.
• Motivate staff and maintain positive morale during busy periods.
• Ensure brand standards and company policies are followed.
• Oversee cash management, reporting, and inventory accuracy.
• Address customer needs and resolve issues to build long-term relationships.
