Trinity Services Group is seeking an Assistant Food Service Director to collaborate with the Food Service Director in managing a large jail/correctional kitchen operation. You’ll supervise a team of food service workers, ensure meals are prepared and served to schedule, and maintain compliance with health and safety standards.

The role is on-site inside a jail facility and reports to the Food Service Director.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Two years of management or supervisory experience in a food service position.
• Three years of experience working in food service.
• ServSafe Certification.
• Experience with purchasing, inventory, ordering and receiving.
• Experience managing and applying kitchen sanitation and safety standards and methods.
• Knowledge of basic accounting and mathematical abilities to complete necessary reports.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications and with food service management systems.

Responsabilidades

• Guidance, training, and management of the facility food service operation.
• Hire, orient, train and issues corrective action to team members.
• Develop positive connections with clients requires communicating with them.
• Oversee the appropriate quantities of food are prepared and served according to facility or site plan.
• Maintain accuracy of inventory in advance preparation of planned menu schedule.
• Ensure that food items are stored properly.
• Maintain all serving schedules to ensure all food items are served per menu specifications in a safe and appropriate manner according to departmental guidelines.
• Maintain a sanitary environment following food service and Health Department codes and regulations.
• Responsible for any state or other inspection of food service operation.
• Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.
