Job summary

Trinity Services Group is seeking an Assistant Food Service Director to support a large food service operation inside a jail/correctional facility. You will report to the Food Service Director and lead a team of food service workers in preparation and distribution of meals.

The role requires strong leadership, knowledge of food handling regulations, and a collaborative approach. On-site work and adherence to safety and health codes are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 18+ years old.
• Two years of supervisory/management experience in food service.
• Three years of experience in food service.
• ServSafe Certification required.
• Experience with purchasing, inventory, ordering and receiving.
• Experience with kitchen sanitation and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Guide, train, and manage the facility food service operation.
• Hire, orient, train and issue corrective action to team members.
• Develop positive connections with clients through effective communication.
• Oversee quantity of food prepared and served per plan.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and follow planned menus.
