Trinity Services Group is seeking an Assistant Food Service Director to partner with the Food Service Director in running a large jail facility kitchen. On-site leadership will guide a team to prepare and distribute meals while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

The role requires strong leadership, familiarity with purchasing, inventory control, and a solid understanding of food service operations, with a focus on continuous improvement in a correctional setting.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED; must be at least 18.
• Two years of management or supervisory experience in a food service position.
• Three years of experience in food service.
• ServSafe Certification.
• Experience with purchasing, inventory, ordering and receiving.
• Experience with kitchen sanitation and safety standards and methods.
• Knowledge of basic accounting and mathematical abilities for reports.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and food service management systems.
• Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Guide, train, and manage the facility food service operation.
• Hire, orient, train and issue corrective action to team members.
• Develop positive connections with clients through effective communication.
• Oversee quantities of food prepared and served per plan.
• Maintain inventory accuracy for planned menus.
• Ensure proper storage of food items.
• Maintain serving schedules to meet menu specifications safely.
• Maintain a sanitary environment following codes and regulations.
• Responsible for state inspections of the food service operation.
• Other responsibilities as needed.
