Trinity Services Group is seeking an Assistant Food Service Director to support the Food Service Director in running a large jail facility's kitchen operations. This on-site role supervises food service staff and ensures meals are prepared and served safely according to schedules and regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Two years of management or supervisory experience in food service.
• Three years of experience working in food service.
• ServSafe Certification required.
• Experience with purchasing, inventory, ordering and receiving.
• Experience applying kitchen sanitation and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Guide, train, and manage the facility food service operation.
• Hire, orient, train, and issue corrective action to team members.
• Communicate with clients to develop positive connections.
• Oversee proper quantities of food prepared and served per plan.
• Maintain inventory accuracy for planned menus.
• Ensure proper storage of food items.
• Maintain serving schedules per menu specifications safely.
• Maintain sanitation following health codes and regulations.
• Handle state inspections of food service operation.
• Perform other duties as required.
