Trinity Services Group is hiring an Assistant Food Service Director to oversee large-scale kitchen operations inside a jail/correctional facility and supervise kitchen staff. You will report to the Food Service Director and ensure efficient, compliant meal service.

The role emphasizes food safety, team leadership, training, and client relations, with a focus on continuous improvement and on-site execution.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Two years of management or supervisory experience in a food service position.
• Three years of experience working in food service.
• ServSafe Certification.
• Experience purchasing, inventory, ordering and receiving.
• Experience applying kitchen sanitation and safety standards.
• Knowledge of basic accounting and math for reports.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and food service systems.
• Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Guide, train, and manage the facility food service operation.
• Hire, orient, train and issue corrective action to team members.
• Develop positive connections with clients through communication.
• Oversee quantities of food prepared and served per plan.
• Maintain inventory accuracy for planned menus.
• Ensure proper storage of food items.
• Maintain serving schedules per menu specifications and safety guidelines.
• Maintain sanitary environment per health codes and regulations.
• Coordinate for state inspections of food service operation.
• Perform other duties as needed.
