Trinity Services Group is seeking an Assistant Food Service Director to support a large correctional facility's food service operation onsite. You will collaborate with the Food Service Director to plan activities, supervise staff, and ensure menu execution and compliance with health codes.

You will manage purchasing, inventory, and training, and report to the Food Service Director. The role emphasizes leadership, compliance, and delivering quality service in a secure environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, 18+.
• Two years of management or supervisory experience in food service.
• Three years of experience in food service.
• ServSafe Certification.
• Experience with purchasing, inventory, ordering and receiving.
• Experience with kitchen sanitation and safety standards.
• Knowledge of basic accounting and reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and food service management systems.
• Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guide, train, and manage facility food service operation.
• Hire, orient, train and issue corrective action to team members.
• Develop positive connections with clients requires communicating with them.
• Oversee the appropriate quantities of food prepared and served according to plan.
• Maintain inventory accuracy in advance preparation of planned menu.
• Ensure that food items are stored properly.
• Maintain serving schedules to meet menu specifications safely.
• Maintain a sanitary environment following codes and regulations.
• Responsible for any state inspections of food service operation.
• Other responsibilities as determined by needs.
