Job summary

JLL in Boston is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager to partner with the Facilities Manager and drive operational excellence across our commercial properties. You will bridge technical operations with strategic facility improvements and lead critical projects while ensuring day-to-day building performance.

This role offers the chance to influence client satisfaction, optimize operating efficiency, and advance facility innovation within JLL's portfolio.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in facility management, building operations, or property management.
• Knowledge of MEP systems and BAS/BMS energy management platforms.
• Experience managing multiple priorities, budgets, and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to read technical drawings, equipment specs, and building codes.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving with customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Facilities Manager to oversee daily property operations and drive efficiency.
• Lead facility improvement projects from conception to completion within budget and timelines.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure performance against SLAs.
• Respond to tenant service requests and participate in after-hours on-call rotation.
• Track work orders and report KPIs using CMMS and facility software.
