Job summary

Augusta University seeks an Assistant Director, V-CLASS to lead virtual academic support, online tutoring, and embedded coaching. You will manage day-to-day operations and supervise staff, graduate assistants, and peer educators while guiding program development and the use of data to improve student success.

The role interfaces with faculty and campus partners to expand online learning resources, assess effectiveness, and align services with enrollment and retention goals.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited college/university in Higher Education, Education, Counseling, or a related field.
• Minimum of two years' experience in higher education, academic support services, student success, advising, online learning, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for V-CLASS and Augusta University's virtual academic support initiative.
• Develop and implement long-term plans for online, hybrid, and non-traditional student success.
• Collaborate across Academic Affairs, Enrollment & Student Affairs, Online Learning, IT, and other units to integrate virtual services.
