Learning Care Group’s Assistant Director oversees the safe, effective operation of the school alongside the School Director and steps in when needed. You will support promoting the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children and ensure compliance with company and state licensing standards.

The role emphasizes fostering a caring, safe environment, recruiting and retaining quality staff, and contributing to profitability while enhancing the community image.

Qualifications

• Must have leadership experience in a licensed childcare facility.
• Must be at least 21 years old and meet state education requirements.
• High School diploma or equivalent; AA with plan to earn BA and 9 ECE credits.

The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director, to achieve Learning Care Group’s safety vision. In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school. The Assistant Director assists in the promotion of the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.

Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.
• Minimum of AA degree with a plan of study to earn BA degree and 9 Completed Early Childhood Education credits.

Compensation/Benefits:

• Compensation of $24.32/starting hourly based on Position, Education and Experience. Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options.
