Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking an Assistant Director to help operate a safe and effective school with the School Director. In the Director's absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility and supports the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.

Responsibilities include promoting a caring environment, meeting licensing standards, recruiting and retaining quality staff, and fostering a positive image for the company within the community.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.
• Required AA degree in Early Education/Child Development with a plan of study to complete BA degree.

Responsibilities

• Operate the school safely and effectively in partnership with the School Director.
• In the Director's absence, assume sole responsibility for the school.
• Promote social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.
• Recruit, select, and retain quality staff.

Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Compensation/Benefits:

• Compensation of $25.06 starting hourly based on Position, Education and Experience. Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options.
