Job summary

Learning Care Group's Assistant Director role supports the School Director in ensuring safe, effective operation of the school and in promoting the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children. In the Director's absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school.

This position emphasizes accountability, leadership, and teamwork to recruit and retain quality staff, uphold licensing standards, and foster a caring, educational environment for children and families

Job description

The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director, to achieve Learning Care Group’s safety vision. In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school. The Assistant Director assists in the promotion of the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children

Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.
• Required AA degree in Early Education/Child Development with a plan of study to complete BA degree.

Compensation/Benefits:

• Compensation of $25.06 starting hourly based on Position, Education and Experience. Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options.
